Autumn can stir up old unprocessed feelings of grief and loss as we are reminded of the inevitable death cycle and endings in nature and in all of life. 

To love comes with inevitable pain. 

And as we get older, we become less naive and if we are not careful, we can become more guarded around our hearts. 

It’s essential to acknowledge where we are operating from self protection fear-based defenses on a somatic level so we can understand where we are blocking ourselves from the love that we are, and that we so desire to share with others in this life.
